Despite it's protected species designation, Florida wildlife management plans to dispose of it, to protect the livestock.\u003c\/p\u003e \n\n \u003cp\u003eRed Rose Tea Company of Canada, worked out a contract in 1967 with Wade ceramics of England, to produce several series of miniature ceramic creatures.  Red Rose Tea contracted them to make special collectible premiums, in the shape of miniature animals, to act as prizes in boxes of their tea. The series included 15 animals which were in high demand as collectibles  in the United States.
