In 1935 Auburn Rubber Company began manufacturing hard rubber toys. They made a variety of sizes and models mostly manufacturing cars and animals. They became well known for their hard rubber farm animals. This rubber hen was part of one of these iconic and now sought after farm sets. It measures about 1.25” X 1.25”.
