This is a rather small Paper Mache Easter Egg. It come in two parts which fit together. This type of Easter egg was very popular as an Easter gift from the 1920s into the 1980s. Before Easter each year they could be taken to the toy store, drug store or department store to be filled with chocolate treats and little gifts. This egg is in nice condition and it fits together fairly well. The eggs always came with a ribbon tied around them.
