Metal Toy Elephant Head Squeeze Ball-1940's

This is a shiny purple metal elephant head connected to a red rubber squeeze ball. The air pushed whatever you fill the ball with, through the head and out the hole in the elephant's trunk. The ball resembles the type of squeeze ball that was sold to mothers for clearing their baby's nose when they had a cold. The metal head was made from a mold and then painted bright purple. The toy is in excellent condition. The head shows some marks from age. The squeeze ball is in excellent condition with minimal cracking. It can still be pressed and reinflates with ease, which stiff and worn out rubber one typically finds from this age cannot do. This would be a very interesting and one-of-a-kind piece to add to a collection.

Measures 5.75 inches long, and 2 inches in diameter at the thickest part of the ball. The elephant head measures about 1.75 inches at its widest point.
