Zook the Clown on Wheels with Coolie Hat - RARE Zook with Japanese Character on Shirt - Rosbro Plastic Toy - Japanese Toy Zook the Clown
The complete character is 7.5" tall. He is in excellent condition. (see photos)
He was obviously cherished by his original owners.. He may have been gifted in Japan, remember, this was produced in the early 1950s, right after WWII. When the US the feelings towards the Japanese were less than favorable. It is an interesting toy for a turbulent era. Would be interesting if this little fellow could tell us his life story.
